Brazil oil regulator could accept fresh bids for unsold pre-salt blocks

RIO DE JANEIRO, Oct 19 (Reuters) - Brazil’s oil regulator ANP said on Thursday if could accept fresh bids for blocks that don’t receive offers in second and third round pre-salt oil and gas auctions next week.

The new deadline for bids on the blocks in Brazil’s offshore pre-salt area, where billions of barrels of oil are trapped under a layer of salt, would be given after the rounds are completed.
