UK financial watchdog says in touch with firms as Brexit roils banks

LONDON, Nov 15 (Reuters) - Britain’s Financial Conduct Authority said it was in regular contact with financial firms on Thursday as shares in major banks tumbled on worries over future access to the European Union market after Brexit.

“As you would expect, in this type of situation, we have regular contact with firms and will continue to engage with them,” an FCA spokesman said.
