UK's Hammond says int'l digital tax unlikely to come soon

BIRMINGHAM, England, Oct 1 (Reuters) - British finance minister Philip Hammond said on Monday that it was unlikely that an agreement to tax international digital service providers would come any time soon.

Speaking to his Conservative Party at annual conference, Hammond said the planned measure was aimed at global giants, not at growth companies. (Reporting by William James; Writing by Elisabeth O’Leary)
