UK house prices edge up in March - Nationwide

LONDON, March 29 (Reuters) - British house prices rose by 0.7 percent in annual terms in March, picking up only a little bit of speed from February, as the approach of Brexit weighed on the housing market, data from mortgage lender Nationwide showed on Friday.

In monthly terms, prices rose by 0.2 percent, Nationwide said.

Economists who took part in a Reuters poll of economists had expected prices to rise by an annual 0.6 percent and to be flat in monthly terms.
