OTTAWA, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Canada’s Labour Minister Patty Hajdu urged Canadian National Railway Co. and union officials to keep talking on Wednesday as a strike at the country’s largest railway entered its second day.
In a statement, the minister’s spokeswoman said the federal government understood the importance of the rail industry to Western Canada and believed in the collective bargaining process.
