TORONTO, May 22 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index fell on Tuesday, breaking an 11-day winning streak, as shares of energy and materials companies lost ground.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index unofficially closed down 17.52 points, or 0.11 percent, at 16,144.79. Seven of the index’s 10 main industry groups ended lower. (Reporting by Fergal Smith, editing by G Crosse)
