(Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index fell at the open on Tuesday, hurt by a drop in the materials sector after gold slipped to a near one-month low.
* At 9:33 a.m. ET (1343 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX Composite index was down 16.71 points, or 0.1%, at 16,478.38.
