CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower as material shares weigh

Mar 14 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened marginally lower on Thursday, led by a dip in material shares on the back of a more than 1 percent fall in gold prices.

At 9:33 a.m. ET (13:33 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was down 26.18 points, or 0.16 percent, at 16,123.79. (Reporting by Sruthi Shankar in Bengaluru; Editing by James Emmanuel)
