CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher ahead of BoC rate decision

(Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index rose at the open on Wednesday, ahead of Bank of Canada’s interest rate decision, with hopes of an interest rate cut in the United States getting a boost from dovish comments by Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell.
