CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher as soft inflation data not seen delaying rate hike

(Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index rose at opening on Friday, driven by an expctation of another interest hike.

* At 9:30 a.m. ET (1330 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX Composite index was up 62.36 points, or 0.4 percent, at 15,466.49. (Reporting by Shreyashi Sanyal in Bengaluru)
