TORONTO, Sept 7 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index dipped on Wednesday as gold mining stocks pared some recent gains, while higher oil prices supported energy stocks.
The Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was down 6.57 points, or 0.04 percent, at 14,806.45. Six of the index’s 10 main groups were lower. (Reporting by Fergal Smith; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
