Sept 11 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index rose modestly at the open on Wednesday as the energy sector tracked gains in oil prices, while hopes of a resolution to the U.S.-China trade war also buoyed sentiment.
* At 9:33 a.m. ET (1333 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX Composite index was up 19.5 points, or 0.12%, at 16,556.84.
