US seizes Caraco drugs over manufacturing problems

WASHINGTON, June 25 (Reuters) - U.S. authorities seized generic medicines made by Caraco Pharmaceutical Laboratories Ltd CPD.A at plants in Michigan following repeated violations of manufacturing standards, regulators said on Thursday.

The seized drugs included generic versions of heart, pain and psychiatric medicines, Food and Drug Administration officials told reporters. (Reporting by Lisa Richwine; Editing by Tim Dobbyn)
