Speculators increase short dollar bets in latest week - CFTC, Reuters

NEW YORK, Feb 26 (Reuters) - U.S. dollar net short positioning rose this week after last week falling to its lowest level since mid-December, according to calculations by Reuters and Commodity Futures Trading Commission data released on Friday.

The value of the net short dollar position rose to $29.33 billion in the week ended Feb. 23, from $29.09 billion the week prior, data showed. U.S. dollar net shorts had previously fallen for four straight weeks. (Reporting by Kate Duguid; editing by Jonathan Oatis)
