China to levy anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties on Australian barley from May 19 - commerce ministry

BEIJING, May 18 (Reuters) - China will impose anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties on barley imports from Australia starting May 19, the commerce ministry said on Monday.

The tariff rate of anti-dumping duties, levied on companies including The Iluka Trust and JW&JI Mcdonald & Sons will be at 73.6%, and anti-subsidy rate at 6.9%, according to a statement published by the Ministry of Commerce. (Reporting by Min Zhang and Dominique Patton, editing by Louise Heavens)
