Clinton says appreciates China confidence in US debt

BEIJING, Feb 21 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Saturday the United States greatly appreciated the Chinese government’s confidence in U.S. treasuries.

Clinton, speaking at a news conference during a trip to China, also said she hoped a G20 summit in London in April would yield agreement on cross border capital flows.

China, with foreign exchange reserves of $2 trillion, is the world’s largest holder of U.S. government debt.
