China Nov implied oil demand up 13.7 pct on yr at record

BEIJING, Dec 13 (Reuters) - China’s implied oil demand in November rose 13.7 percent from a year earlier to a record of nearly 9.3 million barrels per day, Reuters calculations based on preliminary official data showed on Monday.

The demand figure, which excludes changes in inventories which China rarely publishes, was about 380,000 bpd, or 4.2 percent above the previous record posted in October. (Reporting by Chen Aizhu and Tom Miles; Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
