Justin Clark straddles roles, law firms, as Trump campaign deputy

As President Donald Trump doubles down on his refusal to concede the U.S. election, Justin Clark, his deputy campaign chief, senior counsel and the only lawyer in a formal Trump campaign management role, has emerged as a key figure in the president’s post-election legal strategy. Along with campaign manager Bill Stepien, Clark reportedly rallied staffers in the campaign’s Virginia headquarters Monday on the continuing election fight, shortly before news broke that David Bossie, the Trump adviser charged with leading their legal challenges, tested positive for COVID-19. He has served as the campaign’s spokesperson in announcing post-election lawsuits in Georgia and Pennsylvania.
