May 2 (Reuters) - Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp missed analysts’ estimates for quarterly revenue, as sales in its biggest unit of financial services fell.
Revenue rose 5.1 percent to $4.11 billion, but missed estimates of $4.17 billion.
Shares closed down 7.7 percent at $66.61.
The company’s results were available ahead of the scheduled release time.
