U.S. stocks rose on Wednesday after comments from Treasury Secretary Steven
Mnuchin's fueled optimism that the United States and China were close to
striking a trade deal, while the tech sector was boosted by chipmaker Micron's
upbeat results.
At 10:11 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.19% at
26,598.95. The S&P 500 was up 0.18% at 2,922.54 and the Nasdaq Composite
was up 0.77% at 7,945.193.
