May 20 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened higher on Wednesday, lifted by energy stocks as oil prices gained on signs of improving demand and a drawdown in U.S. crude inventories.
* At 9:30 a.m. ET (13:30 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was up 162.75 points, or 1.09%, at 15,048.23.
