June 9 (Reuters) - Canada’s main stock index opened lower on Tuesday as energy stocks fell nearly 4% due to lower oil prices, while investors turned cautious ahead of the U.S. Federal Reserve’s two-day meeting.
* At 9:30 a.m. ET (13:30 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange’s S&P/TSX composite index was down 176.62 points, or 1.11%, at 15,798.29.
