MOSCOW, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Russian state-controlled gas behemoth, Gazprom, accused the United States on Tuesday or orchestrating Ukraine’s actions in a gas dispute.
“We believed yesterday that the door for Russian gas was open but again it’s been blocked by the Ukrainians,” Gazprom Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev said on a conference call with reporters.
“It looks like... they are dancing to the music which is being orchestrated not in Kiev but outside the country.” Medvedev said he was referring to an agreement signed between Ukraine and the United States. He did not name the agreement. (Reporting by Christian Lowe, writing by Guy Faulconbridge and Melissa Akin, editing by James Kilner)
