NEW YORK, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Verizon Communications VZ.N chairman and CEO Ivan Seidenberg said on Wednesday that the company was focused on organic growth, and there was no need to make a move on Vodafone Group Plc.'s VOD.L stake in their joint wireless venture.
“I think the new news on this is that we’re focused on organic growth and that there’s no impetus on my part to think that we need to make any move or to do anything on this,” Seidenberg told a Merrill Lynch conference.
“Vodafone is in the seat and their view is, they like it the way that it is and we take that at face value.”
Verizon holds a 55 percent stake in Verizon Wireless, with the rest owned by Vodafone.
