Continental Resources IPO priced at $15/shr

NEW YORK, May 14 (Reuters) - Continental Resources Inc., an oil and natural gas exploration and production company, on Monday raised $442.5 million with an initial public offering priced below a forecast range.

The 29.5 million share offering sold for $15 per share compared with a $16 to $18 forecast, according to an underwriter.

Led by JP Morgan Securities Inc. and Merrill Lynch, underwriters have the option to purchase an additional 4.43 million additional shares to cover overallotments.

The company was approved to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “CLR” (CLR.N).
