Cycling-Cavendish wins world road race title

COPENHAGEN, Sept 25 (Reuters) - Briton Mark Cavendish won the road race at the cycling world championships on Sunday.

At the end of a 260-km ride from Copenhagen, Cavendish beat Australian Matthew Goss. German Andre Greipel was third, according to provisional results.
