IN BRIEF: FCC will not warn robocallers before issuing penalties

The U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) said it will stop warning most robocallers before handing out penalties for alleged violations of a federal robocall law, under a new order issued Friday.

The FCC will also have more time to take action against intentional robocall and spoofing violations through an extension of the statute of limitations, the agency said.
