Deals of the day-Mergers and acquisitions

Jan 6 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2100 GMT on Monday:

** Xerox Holdings Corp said it has secured $24 billion in financing for its $33.5 billion takeover offer for HP Inc, a deal that the personal computer maker is opposing.

** NH Hotel Group has sealed a deal to operate eight five-star hotels owned by French real estate group Covivio in several European cities, the Spanish company said.

** Occidental Petroleum Corp said it would cut its majority stake in pipeline operator Western Midstream Partners LP to less than 50% in 2020, as it looks to reduce its debt that grew significantly with the Anadarko deal.

** Tremor International will buy video advertising company Unruly from News Corp, with the Rupert Murdoch-controlled media group taking a small stake in the marketing business.

** Grain trader Archer Daniels Midland Co has sold its palm business in Brazil to local player Reflorestadora Moju Acará, according to the Brazilian antitrust watchdog Cade.

** Cybersecurity firm Armis, which specializes in protection for the Internet of Things (IoT), is in advanced talks to be bought by U.S.-based Insight Partners for around $1 billion, Israeli financial news website Calcalist reported.
