Denmark's central bank chief says bank will do 'whatever it takes' to defend euro peg

COPENHAGEN, March 20 (Reuters) - Denmark’s central bank will do “whatever it takes” to defend its currency’s peg to the euro, its chief Lars Rohde said on Friday in a video posted on Twitter.

The comment came after the central bank on Thursday raised its key interest rate after the Danish crown had weakened against the euro. (Reporting by Jacob Gronholt-Pedersen Editing by Chris Reese)
