Danish phase out of North Sea oil, gas to cut output by up to 15% -minister

COPENHAGEN, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Denmark’s decision to phase out oil and gas production in the North Sea by 2050 will reduce the country’s projected output by up to 15% over the next 30 years because of lower investments, Danish climate and energy minister said on Friday.

“We estimate that production will be between 9% and 15% lower until 2050 than if we had not made this decision,” Climate and Energy Minister Dan Jorgensen said in an interview.
