Devgen signs rice distribution deal in Philippines

BRUSSELS, May 13 (Reuters) - Belgian agricultural technology group Devgen DEVG.BR said on Wednesday it had signed an agreement to distribute its hybrid rice products in the Philippines with local company Leads Agri.

Under this collaboration, Devgen and Leads Agri will jointly promote Devgen’s hybrid rice product, to be sold under the brand name “Frontline,” with Leads Agri’s chemical solutions to Filipino rice farmers.

Leads Agri is the third-largest crop protection company in the Philippines. (Reporting by Philip Blenkinsop, Editing by Maureen Bavdek)
