Nov 10 (Reuters) - Medical device company DexCom Inc (DXCM.O) posted a wider-than-expected quarterly loss as operating expenses jumped 26 percent.
For the third quarter, the company posted a net loss of $14.7 million, compared with a net loss of $11.4 million, in the prior year period. Revenue rose 57 percent to $1.9 million.
Shares of the company closed down 5 percent at $3.58 Monday on Nasdaq.
