Spain's Elecnor to build Algeria power line

MADRID, March 25 (Reuters) - Spanish engineering company Elecnor SA (ENOR.MC) on Tuesday said it had signed a deal for 48.9 million euros ($75.48 million) to build a 205-km, 400 kilovolt power line in Algeria.

    A company statement added that the line will run between Tilghmet and Djelfa, south of the capital Algiers.

    Elecnor posted a net profit of 73.6 million euros for 2007, on turnover of 1.36 billion euros. (Reporting by Martin Roberts; Editing by William Hardy)
