Encana gets shareholders' approval to move base to United States

Jan 14 (Reuters) - Canadian oil and gas producer Encana Corp said on Tuesday it had received shareholders’ approval to shift headquarters to the United States.

In a shareholder vote, 90% voted in favor of the resolution, the company said.

The Calgary-based company is the latest to decide to move away from Canada as the nation battles with pipeline capacity shortages.
