Brent crude settles slightly lower after choppy trade

NEW YORK, Dec 20 (Reuters) - Brent crude futures edged lower on Thursday in choppy trading as oil futures and the euro and U.S. dollar were buffeted by shifting impressions of developments on U.S. budget talks.

Brent crude futures slipped 16 cents, or 0.14 percent, to settle at $110.20 a barrel, having traded from $109.70 to $110.66. (Reporting by Robert Gibbons; Editing by M.D. Golan)
