MOSCOW, Aug 20 (Reuters) - Germany's E.ON EONGn.DE, the world's largest utility by sales, is seeking an adjustment of contract for gas supply from Russia's Gazprom GAZP.MM, the business daily Vedomosti reported on Friday.
E.ON’s unit Ruhrgas wants lower prices because of clients’ demand, the newspaper reported, citing unnamed sources at Gazprom.
E.ON’s representative declined to comment for the newspaper.
Vedomosti also reported that so far no other Gazprom’s client has requested to soften the terms of their contracts. (Editing by Lincoln Feast)
