MOSCOW, April 7 (Reuters) - Italy and Russia will discuss the South Stream gas pipeline project in the next few weeks at a bilateral summit, Eni ENI.MI Chief Executive Paolo Scaroni said on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters in Moscow, Scaroni also said a deal will be agreed with Russia's gas giant Gazprom GAZP.MM to give it a stake in Eni's Libyan Elephant field at the next Italian-Russian bilateral meeting.
The next bilateral meeting between the Italian and Russian prime ministers will be in a few weeks, Scaroni said.
