LONDON (Reuters) - Hip-hop star Dizzee Rascal went straight in at the top of the UK singles charts on Sunday, the Official UK Charts Company said.

The new entry, “Dance wiv Me”, knocked American R&B artist Ne-Yo’s “Closer” into second place.

Swedish musician and DJ Basshunter was another new entry at three, with “All I ever Wanted”.

There was little change elsewhere in the top ten.

U.S. pop singer Jordin Sparks and “No Air” -- featuring Chris Brown -- moved down one to four, Chris Brown’s “Forever” also slipped one place to five, Ironik’s “Stay with Me” jumped five places to six, while Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida” slipped five to seven, after being knocked off the top spot last week by Ne-Yo.

Rihanna’s “Take a Bow” fell three to eight, Gabriella Cilmi dropped two to nine with “Sweet about Me”, while Busta Rhymes, featuring Linkin Park, was a non-mover at number 10.

Coldplay enjoyed better success in the album charts as their fourth long-player “Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends” enjoyed a fourth week at number one.

The only new entry in the top ten album chart was Seth Lakeman with “Poor Man’s Heaven”.
