OSLO, Feb 16 (Reuters) - The European Commission’s latest energy policy proposals indicate a continued need for natural gas from Norway, western Europe’s top producer, the country’s oil and energy minister said on Tuesday.
“Norway has significant remaining natural gas resources and will remain a reliable and long-term supplier to Europe,” Energy Minister Tord Lien said in a statement. (Reporting by Terje Solsvik, editing by Gwladys Fouche)
