Oct 1 (Reuters) - Exxon Mobil Corp said bit.ly/2mOnOfS on Tuesday that it expects weaker crude prices to hit earnings by $400 million to $700 million in the third quarter.
The company had posted a 21% drop in second-quarter profit as sharply higher oil production was offset by weakness in its refining and chemicals businesses. (Reporting by Shanti S Nair, Shariq Khan and Arathy S Nair in Bengaluru; Editing by Anil D’Silva)
