Fact Check-Video of Biden's London visit digitally altered to add "Let's Go Brandon!" chant

Users have shared a clip with manipulated audio that made it appear as if U.S. President Joe Biden faced ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ chants upon his visit to London for Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. The original audio was replaced sounds of the anti-Biden chant.

The ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ slogan became an internet sensation after a journalist told race car driver Brandon Brown that a NASCAR crowd shouting a vulgarity directed at Biden was actually saying, "Let's go, Brandon” (here).

The clip shows Biden inside a black vehicle caught in traffic with crowds gathered along the street.

One user shared the clip via Twitter on Sept. 19, 2022 and said: “A WARM UK WELCOME!!!” (here).

Another said: “As Joe rides through the streets of London, crowds chant “LET’S GO BRANDON” They know!!” (here).

Other examples of the altered video shared online can be found (here), (here), (here), (here), (here) and (here).
