The clip shows CNN correspondent Brian Todd reporting on nuclear-capable bomber jets conducting exercises over the Caribbean with Venezuelan forces.
In the lower-third of the screen is the message: “Putin making military moves in America’s backyard.”
One Facebook user who shared the video on Feb. 27, 2022, three days after Russia invaded Ukraine, said: “PRESIDENT PUTIN SENT A MESSAGE TO U.S. MAKING MILITARY MOVES IN AMERICA'S BACKYARD” (here).
Another shared a screenshot of the report on Feb. 26, and said: “Putin special bomber jets landing in America Backyard, the world is in serious danger” (here).
The clip was also uploaded to Twitter, with a user adding: “Which Caribbean?” (here).
