A clip of dashcam footage showing a car being lifted during an extreme weather event was not filmed during a storm that hit Texas in January 2023. It actually shows an incident in Taiwan in 2015.
The dashcam video shows a white car driving during a storm before being lifted and flung with other debris during harsh winds.
The video was shared after a twister touched down in Pasadena, Texas, on Jan 24, damaging homes, buildings and power lines (here).
