Fannie Mae to sell new 3-yr benchmark notes Jan 14

NEW YORK, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Fannie Mae FNM.N FNM.P, the largest U.S. home funding company, said on Wednesday it plans to sell new three-year benchmark notes due Feb. 22, 2013 on Thursday.

The size of the issue has yet to be determined.

Fannie Mae said it hired Banc of America, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan to manage the sale.
