Faris, Fogler "Kids" again in comedy film

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - “Scary Movie” star Anna Faris and Tony-winning actor Dan Fogler will join “That ‘70s Show” veteran Topher Grace in the comedy “Kids in America.”

Grace will play a recent college graduate, Faris, his twin sister, and Fogler, his best friend, during their misadventures at a raucous Labor Day party in 1988. Teresa Palmer (“The Grudge 2”) also is on board, as the girl of Grace’s dreams.

The Universal Studios/Imagine Entertainment production is scheduled to begin later this month. Michael Dowse will direct; Grace will also serve as a producer.

Faris, whose “Smiley Face” premiered at Sundance last month, next appears in “Mama’s Boy” opposite Jon Heder and Diane Keaton.

Fogler won a Tony in 2004 for featured actor in a musical for his performance in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” He recently appeared in the comedy feature “School for Scoundrels.”
