LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - “Brothers & Sisters” star Dave Annable has been cast in the romantic comedy “Wedlocked” opposite “American Idol” runner-up Katharine McPhee.

Annable will play a pet photographer who gets mixed up with a mobster and his daughter, who is angling for American citizenship. Things go terribly awry on their forced honeymoon.

Rob Hedden (“The Condemned”) will direct the film from his own script.

Annable had a role in the 2004 feature “Little Black Book” and appears opposite Meryl Streep and Amy Adams in Columbia’s “Julie & Julia,” to be released in August.
