BLACKROCK INC (BLK.N)
The investment and risk management firm named Nancy Everett managing director, head of U.S. Fiduciary Management Solutions. Most recently, Everett served as chief cxecutive at Promark Global Advisors (formerly General Motors Asset Management).
JONES LANG LASALLE (JLL.N)
The hotel investment services firm appointed Robert Mayhew as regional director in the company’s Valuation Advisory team in London. Robert was previously with Jones Lang LaSalle Russia and CIS, where he served as head of Strategic Consulting and Valuation.
The bank appointed Fazal Merchant as head of Global Industrials, Americas, within its Global Banking & Markets division. Merchant joins from Barclays Capital, where he was a managing director in its Global Industrials Group.
The diversified holding company appointed Anthony Deluise as head of private placements. Deluise joins from Credit Suisse Securities where he most recently was chairman of the Private Placement Group.
The group said John Reeve, chief executive of Family Investments, has been appointed as the its new chairman.
The global asset management business of Aviva Plc (AV.L) appointed Michael Milligan as a director of institutional sales in North America. Earlier, he worked at Amalgamated Bank.
The bank appointed Claudio Villa as managing director. Earlier, Villa was with Future Group, where he was CEO of the company’s investment arm, Future Investments. The bank also appointed Rico Pedrett as a director. Pedrett joins from CQS.
METLIFE INC (MET.N)
The global insurance and financial services company promoted Dave Ewens as sales director. It also promoted Chris Tingle and Andrew Pook as regional sales directors.
The London-based mid-market private equity firm has elected Daniel Mytnik as partner. Mytnik joined Palamon as principal in 2006.
MORRISON & FOERSTER LLP
The financial services regulation firm appointed Charles Horn as a partner in its financial services group, based in Washington DC. He joins from Mayer Brown LLP, where he was the co-head of financial services regulatory practice.
The life assurer appointed Justine Randall as head of partnerships, a newly created position. He joins from the Zurich/Openwork group.
STANDARD CHARTERED (STAN.L)
The British bank appointed Rupesh Hindocha as the regional head of credit trading, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Hindocha, who will be based in Dubai, was earlier with Credit Suisse (CS.N) as the Middle East head of credit trading.
The private-equity firm promoted Michelle Capiod as director. Capiod has been with the firm since 2003. It also promoted Andrej Babace and Robert Chmelar to the associate director level and Jan Krzewinski to senior associate position.
The investment management firm appointed Oliver Morath to the role of head of Europe and MENA, effective immediately. Howard, to be based in Frankfurt, joins from the Royal Bank of Canada Dexia where he was director of business development, Asset Servicing Germany.
The UK-based equities broker appointed Jim Milligan as a Global Natural Resources strategist, focusing on listed companies within the natural resources sector. He joins from BlueCrest Capital Management where he was the global natural resources equity portfolio manager and trader on the company’s commodities desk.
The corporate and investment banking arm of Royal Bank of Canada (RY.N) appointed Andrew Williams as a director and equity research analyst. Williams will be based in Melbourne.
