CANADIAN IMPERIAL BANK OF COMMERCE (CM.TO)
Canada’s No. 5 bank said Richard Jones will be joining its London office on Jan. 4 as executive director focusing on trading foreign exchange forwards. Richard last worked at Currency Insight Ltd in London as head of trading.
HURON CONSULTING GROUP INC (HURN.O)
The business consulting services provider said Ryan Bengtson, Delphine Mendez de Leon, Michael Roberts, Robin Snasdell, Philip Strzalka, Larry Stuckey, Manny Tzavlakis and Amy Wall have been promoted to the role of managing directors in different verticals of the company.
U.S. Trust, a private banking unit of Bank of America (BAC.N), on Monday said it hired five veteran wealth managers and portfolio managers. The firm hired Chad Reddy of City National CYN.N as its Northern California regional trust executive in San Francisco, and portfolio manager Barbara Bagley in Century City, California, where she had been a portfolio manager for Beverly Hills boutique Lewis Capital Management. JPMorgan private wealth management’s Cornelius Mercea joined as a portfolio manager in Tucson, Arizona. The bank added Judy Slotkin, a private wealth management executive for the New York City region. U.S. Trust added Charles Ewald, a private client consultant in Charlottesville, Virginia.
NOMURA HOLDINGS INC (8604.T)
Japan’s biggest brokerage said it appointed David Benson as vice chairman, risk and regulatory affairs. Benson has been Nomura’s chief risk officer since November 2008.
