Freeport says Indonesian unit may have to declare force majeure

Feb 28 (Reuters) - Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold said its Indonesian unit may be required to declare force majeure on copper concentrate sales due to regulatory changes in Indonesia.

“PT-FI (PT Freeport Indonesia) may also be required to declare force majeure under its concentrate sales agreements,” it said in a filing dated Feb. 27.
