G4S buys U.S.'s Touchcom for $23 million

COPENHAGEN, June 4 (Reuters) - Anglo-Danish security services firm G4S (GFS.L) said on Wednesday it had bought Touchcom, Inc. from individual shareholders for $23 million in cash and another potential $33 million subject to three-year growth targets.

Touchcom installs and maintains web-based electronic security systems and facility management software, G4S said in a statement.

The world’s biggest guarding and security services group said the acquisition would allow it to combine Touchcom’s systems integration expertise with its U.S. guarding firm Wackenhut’s strong market position in the commercial and government sectors.
